- 진로체험의 현황과 과제 -
The purpose of this study is to examine the background and the current trends of career experience programs currently being practiced in Korean public schools and universities and suggest the direction. First, the definition of career experience, career development theories, and Kolb’s experiential learning theory were reviewed. Then, program types, operating systems, and evaluation methods were examined. Practical guidelines that can be implemented from elementary through tertiary levels are suggested. BBased on the results of the reviews, tasks, and strategies such as the need of revising the Career Education Act 2015 and the career experience portfolio system are discussed.

The Current Status and Tasks of Career Experience Curriculum
본 연구의 목적은 최근 한국의 초·중등학교와 대학에서 실행되고 있는 진로체험을 통 한 진로교육의 배경과 현재의 동향을 고찰하여 개인의 직업 준비를 발달시키기 위해 나아 가야 할 방향을 제시함에 있다. 이를 위해 문헌과 법령에 기술된 진로교육과 진로체험의 정의를 고찰하였고 진로체험의 이론적 근거가 되는 진로발달 이론과 교수학습 이론으로 Kolb의 경험학습 이론을 제시하였다. 다음으로 진로체험 관련 법령을 고찰하였다. 진로체 험 프로그램 운영 현황을 파악하기 위하여, 체험 프로그램의 종류, 진로체험 지원체계, 고 등교육기관을 포함한 수준(학교급)별 진로체험 프로그램 운영 및 평가 및 성인의 직업교육 으로 이어지는 진로체험의 방안으로 미국의 동향을 제시하였다. 진로체험의 현황을 고찰한 결과, 진로체험 대상을 학교 밖 및 성인까지 확대하기 위해서는 진로교육법의 일부 내용을 개정할 필요가 있으며, 지역 간의 격차를 줄이기 위하여 진로체험 프로그램 제공을 해당 지역 밖으로 확대해야 하고, 인구구조 변화를 대응하기 위하여 개인의 진로체험 이력 관리 를 체계적으로 관리해야 하는 등 몇 가지의 향후 과제를 제언하였다.
